•The papers will be evaluated by the International Committee and require two approvals from the evaluators in order to authorize their presentation in ALTAE2009.

•ALTAE2009 is conceived as a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences. Therefore for a paper to be in the proceedings of the congress it is mandatory the registration and presentation by one of the authors.

•In order to offer opportunity for all, there is a maximum of 3 papers per author.

•Papers are limited to six pages, including all text, references, figures and tables.

•Number of authors is not limited

•Papers must be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English

•Deadline for papers: 30 July 2009

Papers that are accepted to participate in the event will be posted on a media that will be delivered as proceedings of the event which will feature International Standard Book Number - ISBN.

Note: the best 15 papers will be published in Revista de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Antioquia, magazine classified as A1 by Colciencias and referenced in widely recognized international citation indexes (eg. Chemical Abstracts, Scielo, Latindex) Other good papers will be published in other magazines of similar rank. The International Committee will choose the best papers of the congress. These papers have to be fitted to the magazine format; the format of the magazine can be found in this link:
