The Iberoamerican Federation of Catalysis Societies (FISoCat, from the Spanish acronyms Federación Iberoamericana de Sociedades de Catálisis, http://www.fiq.unl.edu.ar/fisocat/miembros.htm) and the Colombian Society of Catalysis (SoCCat, from the Spanish acronyms Sociedad Colombiana de CatÁlisis) together with the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellín and Bogotá Campus, and the Universidad de Medellín, invite to the catalytic community to the School on Catalysis-EICAT 2014 in “Catalysis for Biorefinery” and to XXIV Iberoamerican Congress on Catalysis, to be held in Medellin (Colombia) on September 11 – 13 and September 15 – 19 of 2014, respectively.
Since 1968 the Iberoamerican catalytic community meets each two years with the aim of share their research in catalysis, renew and star collaborations with the academic community and the industry.
The topics of the congress will be the followings:
° Environmental catalysis
° Catalysis in clean energies
° Design and synthesis of catalysts
° Surface and reactivity
° Engineering of the catalytic reactors
° Fine chemistry
° Deactivation and regeneration of catalysts
° Computational catalysis
