Dr. Miller Camargo is a PhD in Public Health Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering, University of Leeds (UK), MSc(Eng) in Environmental Engineering with emphasis in Sanitary Engineering. Actually is a Lecturer in Water and Environmental Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, University of Leeds (UK). His professional and academic experience is mainly linked to disinfection by-products control in drinking water, natural wastewater treatment systems, resource recovery from liquid waste streams, and airborne pathogen transport and control in indoor environments. The current research interests are in the field of Water, Sanitation and Health Engineering (WASH) in Developing Countries, and Resource Recovery from Low-grade waste streams including wastewater reuse in agriculture, algal biomass cultivation, nutrient recovery from wastewater, sludge and excreta, and renewable energy generation and high-value products from anaerobic digestion and fermentation of waste.
